Cactus Succulents Care

How to care for cacti and succulents

Cacti and succulents are generally low-maintenance plants, but they perform best when grown in the right conditions. Providing excellent drainage, watering appropriately and using a specialised growing medium all contribute to healthy root development and vigorous growth.

Whether you're growing desert cacti, leafy succulents or a Christmas cactus, matching your care routine to your plant's needs will help it thrive year after year.

Tips for healthy cactus and succulent growth

• Always use pots with adequate drainage holes.
• Allow the growing medium to dry as appropriate between watering.
