Where should I use the Cultiv8 Temp + Humidity Reader?

It’s ideal for grow tents, drying rooms, greenhouses, propagation domes, and hydroponic setups. For best results, place it at canopy height and avoid direct mist, fan blasts, or hot zones. The probe lets you monitor a second location like intake air or root zone.

Does it record min/max readings?

Yes—it tracks the highest and lowest temperature and humidity values since your last reset. This helps you catch overnight spikes, drops, or stealthy humidity issues. Reset with a long-press on the MAX/MIN button (varies by model).

What’s the temperature and humidity range?

The main unit reads from -9°C to +50°C and 20%–90% RH. The probe handles -50°C to +70°C. Accuracy is typically ±5% RH, which is reliable for spotting trends and environmental swings.

What is the stainless-steel probe for?

The probe gives a second temperature reading—commonly used for canopy, root zone, intake air, or reservoir temps. It’s water-resistant but not fully submersible, so keep cable joins dry and avoid soaking it long-term.

Does the Cultiv8 Reader have a backlight?

What batteries does it use, and how long do they last?
