Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses used for?

Agent 939 FX glasses are designed for grow rooms with full-spectrum LED or CMH lighting. They reduce glare, eye strain, and headaches, while letting you see plant colours more naturally—making it easier to spot pests, deficiencies, or stress.

Which grow lights are Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses compatible with?

They’re optimized for white full-spectrum LEDs and 3000K–4200K CMH/LEC fixtures. They aren’t suitable for blurple, magenta/red-heavy LEDs, or high-Kelvin MH lights. If colours seem off, your light spectrum may need a different lens.

Do Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses block UV and IR light?

Yes—they block harmful UV and reduce infrared (IR) heat, helping protect your eyes from long-term strain and dryness in high-intensity lighting environments.

Are Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses safety-rated?

They’re built tough with shatter-resistant lenses and durable TR90 frames, but if you need certified PPE for workplace compliance, check the exact safety rating for your site’s standards.

Do Method Seven Agent 939 FX fog up in hot rooms?

They resist fogging better than typical glasses, but all eyewear can fog under hot, humid conditions. Keeping lenses clean and airflow moving helps reduce this. Anti-fog wipes can also help if needed.

How do I clean Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses?

Rinse off dust first, then use mild soap or lens-safe cleaner, and dry with a microfiber cloth. For sticky resin, use warm water and mild soap—avoid harsh solvents that could damage lens coatings.

Are Method Seven Agent 939 FX just tinted sunglasses?

No—unlike regular sunglasses, these are engineered to filter specific wavelengths from grow lights. They correct colour distortion and reduce glare without overly darkening your field of view.

Are Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses comfortable for long wear?

Yes—they’re built for all-day use with a flexible TR90 wraparound frame, recessed rubber nose pads, and a base-8 lens curve for solid side protection. They generally fit most face shapes, including larger heads.

Can I wear Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses with hats or masks?

Yes—the arms sit comfortably under most hats and hoods. They also work with many respirators, though tight-fitting masks may require minor adjustment at the bridge.

Can I wear Method Seven Agent 939 FX over prescription glasses?

No—these aren’t oversized “overspecs.” If you need prescription, contact lenses are the simplest solution. Some Method Seven frames have Rx options, but they’re sold separately.

Can I use Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses outside?

Yes—many growers use them outdoors too. While they’re tuned for grow room lighting, they still offer solid UV and glare protection in sunlight.

Do Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses help with spotting pests or trichomes?

They improve colour contrast and make leaf issues more visible, but for trichomes, you’ll still want a loupe or microscope. Great for scouting and visual plant checks.

Will Method Seven Agent 939 FX fix LED flicker?

No—flicker is caused by driver frequency or camera shutter speed. These glasses improve visual comfort and colour accuracy but won’t eliminate flicker effects.

Are Method Seven Agent 939 FX the same as Citadel FX2?

In some regions, the Agent 939 frame is referred to as Citadel FX2. Focus on matching the correct lens type for your lighting (LED/CMH FX) rather than the frame name alone.

Are Method Seven Agent 939 FX worth the price over cheap grow glasses?

Yes—especially if you spend real time in the room. Cheaper glasses usually just darken everything. Agent 939 FX combines colour clarity, protection, and comfort built for actual growers.

What should I do if my Method Seven Agent 939 FX glasses arrive damaged?

Take clear photos of the packaging and product right away, then contact us at DrGreenthumbs.com.au so we can resolve the issue quickly.
