Glasses & Eye Protection

Why use grow light glasses?

Indoor grow lights can produce intense light that may make it difficult to accurately assess plant colour and overall health. Grow light glasses are designed to improve visual comfort and help restore a more natural view of your plants while working beneath horticultural lighting.

They're a practical addition for anyone spending regular time in grow tents, indoor gardens or commercial cultivation spaces.

Benefits of grow room eye protection

• Improves viewing comfort under bright grow lights.
• Helps restore more natural plant colours when inspecting foliage.
• Suitable for LED, HPS and CMH lighting systems, depending on the lens type.
• Ideal for routine maintenance, pruning and plant inspections.
• Comfortable options for hobbyists and professional growers alike.

How to choose the right grow light glasses

The best eyewear depends on the type of lighting used in your growing environment and how you'll be using it.

• LED grow lights: Choose lenses designed to improve visibility under full-spectrum or LED horticultural lighting.
• HPS and CMH lighting: Select eyewear suited to high-intensity discharge lighting where applicable.
• Comfort: Look for lightweight frames that can be worn during longer gardening sessions.
• Plant inspections: Choose lenses that help you assess foliage colour more naturally while monitoring plant health.

Tips for working safely under grow lights

• Wear appropriate eye protection when spending extended periods under bright horticultural lighting.
• Turn off grow lights where practical when carrying out detailed maintenance.
• Keep lenses clean for the clearest possible view.
• Store glasses in a protective case when not in use.
• Replace damaged eyewear to maintain clear vision and comfort.
