Baldr Wireless Thermometer

What does the Baldr Wireless Thermometer measure?

It tracks indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity using a wireless sensor. The main screen displays all readings simultaneously, so you can monitor conditions at a glance. It’s perfect for grow tents, greenhouses, storage, and living spaces.

What are the temperature and humidity ranges?

Indoor readings: -9.9°C to +50°C. Outdoor: -40°C to +60°C. Humidity range: 20% to 95% RH for both zones. Accuracy may vary slightly depending on placement and conditions.

How do I set up the Baldr Wireless Thermometer?

Insert batteries in the outdoor sensor first, then the main unit. It should sync automatically within a few minutes. If not, remove batteries from both units, wait 30 seconds, and retry with both devices close together.

What’s the wireless range and how can I improve it?

Typical range is 40–60 meters in open space. Walls, foil insulation, and metal sheds can reduce signal strength. For better reliability, keep the sensor within sight or minimize obstructions between units.

Does the Baldr Wireless Thermometer have a touchscreen and backlight?

Yes — the display is touch-sensitive for setup and navigation. A backlight button on top activates a white glow for night viewing. It also includes a humidity trend icon and visual comfort indicator.

Does it record high and low temperature and humidity?

Yes — it tracks min/max values to help you catch spikes or drops when you’re not watching. This is especially helpful for monitoring overnight lows or unexpected humidity swings.

What batteries does it use and how long do they last?

The main unit uses 3× AAA batteries; the sensor uses 2× AAA. Battery life depends on quality and usage, but the system is low-power. Using good batteries and limiting backlight use helps extend runtime.

Where should I place the outdoor sensor for best accuracy?

Mount it in a shaded, sheltered spot—under eaves or in indirect air—to avoid heat distortion from sun or reflective surfaces. Avoid placing it near metal objects or moisture sources for consistent results.

Can I use the Baldr Thermometer indoors for grow tents, bedrooms, or greenhouses?

Absolutely. It’s ideal for spotting humidity spikes, monitoring canopy-level temps, or maintaining comfort in living areas. Many users rely on it to prevent mold or optimize drying/curing spaces.

Why do humidity readings vary or seem inaccurate?

Sensor placement is key. Fans, mist, or heat can skew readings. Even slight distance changes matter in small spaces. To verify accuracy, compare devices side-by-side in stable conditions for a few hours.

What should I do if the display freezes or sensor stops updating?

First, replace the batteries. If that fails, re-pair both units: remove batteries from both, wait a minute, then restart with the sensor first. Keep them close together during re-sync.

Can I add extra sensors or use it in a fridge or freezer?

This model comes with one remote sensor. For fridge/freezer use, make sure the sensor stays dry. If you need multi-zone tracking, look for a version that supports multiple channels.

Can I mount it or use it on a desk?

Yes — the main unit includes a stand for shelves and a hook for wall-mounting. Place it where it’s visible and away from heat or moisture for the most reliable readings.

How do I clean and care for the unit?

Wipe it with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Don’t spray cleaners or let water get into vents. Avoid long exposure to high humidity or condensation to protect the sensor’s accuracy.

What’s included with the Baldr Wireless Thermometer?

The box includes 1× main display unit, 1× wireless outdoor sensor, and a user manual. It’s a great pick for anyone who wants simple, accurate indoor/outdoor monitoring without apps or Wi-Fi.
