Full-time  |  North Wollongong  |  Mon–Fri  |  $30–$36/hr + Growth Pathway

Dr Greenthumbs is a fast-growing Australian business built on quality, reliability, and doing things properly. We’re not here to scrape by, we’re building a tight, high-performance operation where good people thrive and average effort doesn’t cut it.

If you’re someone who takes pride in accuracy, loves structure, and wants a role that grows in responsibility as you grow, you’ll fit in here.

Why This Role Exists

Our warehouse is the backbone of the business. When stock is accurate and dispatch is sharp, everything runs smoother.

This role is central to building a cleaner, smarter, more efficient operation. You won’t just “pick and pack.” You’ll own outcomes that directly impact the business every single day.

What Success Looks Like (Your First 90 Days)

By the 3-month mark, in this role you will:

  • Perform dispatch confidently, accurately and independently.
  • Maintain spotless stock records and complete stock counts without prompting.
  • Solve problems early — before they affect production or orders.
  • Communicate clearly and reliably with production and remote assistants.
  • Have improved at least one system, layout, or workflow in the warehouse.

If that paints a picture of where you want to be, keep reading.

If it sounds like “too much responsibility”, this isn’t your role.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role covers both dispatch (40%) and inventory coordination (60%).

Dispatch (Approx. 40%)

  • Pick, pack, and quality-check outgoing orders
  • Follow packing slips and SOPs precisely
  • Prepare, label, and box shipments
  • Load pallets and be physically fit
  • Operate pallet jacks / walkie stackers (training provided)

Inventory Coordination (Approx. 60%)

  • Complete daily/weekly stock counts
  • Receive and log incoming stock
  • Keep inventory systems accurate and up-to-date
  • Track low-stock items and flag upcoming needs
  • Reconcile discrepancies, damaged items, and missing stock
  • Coordinate with production on stock for upcoming builds
  • Help design and optimise shelving and storage layouts
  • Work with a remote assistant on order planning and scheduling

This is a role for someone who values accuracy, ownership, and organisation.

Who This Role Is For

You’ll excel here if you are:

  • Reliable and consistent. Your word matches your actions
  • Organised & detail-focused. you keep things tight
  • Strong at following systems but confident improving them
  • Physically capable — comfortable lifting soil bags, etc.
  • A clear communicator who owns mistakes and solves problems
  • Independent once trained. No babysitting required
  • Hungry for growth, not “just a job”

This role is NOT for you if:

  • You need constant reminders
  • You cut corners or work messy
  • You avoid responsibility
  • You get overwhelmed easily
  • You just want to do the minimum
  • We’re building a high-standard team — not a daycare.

Our Non-Negotiables

  • You show up on time, every time
  • You follow systems exactly as written or shown
  • You communicate early when something is off
  • You own outcomes (no blame, no excuses)
  • You care about accuracy and quality 100% of the time.

If these match how you already operate, you’ll thrive here.
